Butter Toffee Pretzels recipe
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a large roasting pan.
2. Pour the pretzels into the prepared pan or baking sheet. Spread them out in a single layer if possible.
3. In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Bring this mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Keep stirring for 5 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla extract and baking soda.
5. Pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels and sprinkle with half of the Heath toffee bits. Toss everything to coat the pretzels evenly.
6. Bake for 1 hour at 200°F (93°C), stirring every 15 minutes.
7. Once done, carefully spread the pretzels on wax paper to cool. Sprinkle with the remaining Heath toffee bits. Let it cool completely before breaking into clusters.
