🔪 How To Make Three Envelope Roast

STEP 1: Season Meat Season the chuck roast generously with salt and pepper.

STEP 2: Prepare Seasoning Put the seasoned roast into a crockpot (slow cooker).

STEP 3: Mix Sauce Add the 3 packages of seasoning mixes in a small bowl. Pour in 1 cup of water. Use a whisk to mix all of the ingredients together in the bowl until combined.

STEP 4: Pour and Cook Pour the mixed seasoning sauce over the top of the roast. Set the crockpot on High and cook for 4 hours. Continue to baste the roast with the seasonings periodically during cooking.

STEP 5: Add Vegetables (Optional) If desired, add baby potatoes, whole baby carrots, and chopped onions to the crockpot at the start of cooking. Check to make sure that the vegetables are fully cooked before serving.

STEP 6: Serve The roast is ready when it is fall-apart tender. Serve immediately.
